In the next three days, 100 bedded COVID care centre will be set up at multipurpose Indoor Stadium at pernem though the premises can accommodate 150 Beds. Mandrem MLA Mr. Dayanand sopte has said. Sopte was interacting with media person on Sunday after inspecting the work of setting up COVID-19 Indoor Stadium which was declared as COVID care centre by North Goa collector.
Pernem Deputy Collector Ravi Shankar nipanikar, Deputy chairperson of Pernem Municipal Council Gajanan Sawal Desai, Chandra Desai, Rama SawalDesai, Vishwanath Tirodkar, and virnoda Panch member Shailendra Parab was also present during the inspection.
Sopte discussed various arrangements that need to made at Covid centre and issue instructions to complete the work within the stipulated time he is said that security personnel will be deployed as to ensure that no patience escapes from the premises.
